Our P6/7 class had a surprise visitor yesterday in the shape of Miss Victoria Johnson, a second class passenger on RMS Titanic. She time -travelled from the year 1912 to tell the children all about her experiences as a servant on board the famous but tragic liner.
She had a trunk full of artefacts associated with the ship. The kids were fascinated to see Titanic tickets, menus, curling tongs and smelling salts! Minka got to try on a very uncomfortable corset!
The children got a chance to show off what they’ve already learnt about Titanic and discovered loads more historical information.
