Primary 1/2 visited Newtownhamilton Primary School last week for a Shared Education day. The boys and girls took part in a Lego lesson where they worked in groups to build a skyscraper. Afterwards, they drew a picture and wrote a sentence about their skyscraper. Great fun was had during play based learning in the classroom and outside in Newtonhamilton PS wonderful outdoor area. We finished the day with a little dance party with songs from around the world.
A fantastic day had by all. We cant wait for our next Shared Education day.
