Our Primary Sevens got to meet (online) the very famous author Marita Conlon-McKenna last week.
The class are currently studying her famine novel, 'Under The Hawthorn Tree'.
The boys and girls seized the opportunity to ask her questions on camera and she was very generous with all her
detailed answers. Marita gave them lots of tips for creative writing and encouraged them to read as much as
they could.
Laura was our 'spokesperson' for the session and she did an excellent job !!!
