PSNI Road Safety Visit

21st May 2025
Last Friday, we were delighted to welcome officers from the PSNI, who spoke to our pupils about road safety. The officers spoke to the children about the importance of being vigilant and responsible when using the roads- whether walking, cycling, or travelling in a car. They shared practical tips on how to cross roads safely, the significance of wearing seatbelts, and the importance of being visible to drivers, especially during darker months.

The session was engaging and informative, with the children asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own experiences. The officers also brought some of their equipment and uniforms, which the children found fascinating!

To round off the day on a joyful note, the P4/5 children enjoyed ice lollies outside in the sunshine. This was a special celebration in honour of the P4 pupils who made their Holy Communion last weekend.
