Primary 5/6 enjoyed a fantastic visit from local historian Una Walsh last week as part of our WAU topic, My Locality. Una shared her wealth of knowledge about Newtownhamilton, helping the children explore our area on the map and uncover fascinating stories from the past, including the history of the hiring fair. This interactive session was incredibly informative and really supported the children’s learning, bringing our topic to life in a meaningful way.
