Our Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a fantastic block of GAA coaching sessions over the past six weeks.
The sessions were led by Armagh County Board coach, Aileen McGuinness, who brought great energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to each lesson.
Throughout the programme, the children developed a wide range of skills including passing, soloing, tackling, and teamwork. Each week built on the last, allowing pupils to grow in confidence while improving their technique and understanding of the game.
Most importantly, the sessions promoted fun, participation, and a positive attitude towards physical activity. It was wonderful to see such high levels of engagement, effort, and sportsmanship from all involved.
We are now looking forward to the next block of sessions beginning on Monday, when our Primary 7 pupils will have the opportunity to take part and further develop their skills.
