Primary 7 spent a very informative and therapeutic morning with Pete at Newtownhamilton's Men's and Hens' Shed Community Garden, learning how to plant sunflower seeds safely. The bedded plants have gone into the tunnel for the first few weeks, but then they will be transferred to planters at our school. The P7s will then take them home as a Leaving present in June as a reminder of all the wonderful growing they did during their years at Primary school.
