Our Primary 5/6 class recently had a wonderful time planting sunflowers, thanks to the support of Pete from the Newtownhamilton Men’s Shed. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience of learning how to plant and care for their own flowers, and they are already excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Pete for sharing his time, knowledge and enthusiasm with the class. His guidance made the activity both fun and meaningful for the pupils, and it was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn new skills.
We are also very grateful for all of Pete’s help and support throughout the year. His involvement has made a real difference, and we truly appreciate the time he has given to our school community.
We look forward to working together again next year!
