As part of our World Around Us topic, Superheroes, P3 and P4 have been exploring what truly makes a hero. It didn’t take long for the children to realise that superheroes aren’t just found in comics or on screens — we’re surrounded by real-life heroes every day!
We were incredibly lucky to welcome two amazing visitors into our classroom: Dr. Sean McNicholls and Firefighter Gavin Marron. The children were thrilled to meet them and came prepared with lots of questions about their important and inspiring work.
Both visitors shared fascinating stories about their jobs and captivated the class with their experiences. Their passion and dedication sparked real excitement in the room — and may have even inspired a few future doctors and firefighters!
