Our Primary Sevens had another visitor this week in the form of local South Armagh historian, Una Walsh.
Una delivered a very informative lesson on An Gorta Mor; Emigration and the effects of the famine on the local
area.
She also told the tragic story of the little-known, stricken ship 'The Hannah', which sailed from Warrenpoint
to Canada in the 1840s.
The children loved Una's story-telling and this session has certainly increased their knowledge of local history.
