Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful Green Day celebration as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge, a special time to celebrate the Irish language and culture.
The school was filled with colour, music and laughter as pupils took part in a variety of activities throughout the day. There was plenty of dancing, poems, songs, art and lots of great fun. The children performed beautifully and showed great enthusiasm in everything they did.
We were also delighted to enjoy beautiful music from Niamh Noade, which added a very special atmosphere to the celebrations.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising effort for the Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the generosity of our school community we were able to raise £150, which is a fantastic achievement.
Bhí lá iontach againn le linn Sheachtain na Gaeilge le ceol, rince agus spraoi. Táimid an-bhródúil as ár ndaltaí!
Finally, we would like to wish everyone in our school community a very happy St Patrick’s Day.
