On Wednesday, our school football team, travelled to Belleek GAC to take part in the Gary Toner Tournament. Our team had a very successful day, winning 3 out of their 4 matches, which took them through to the shield final against Belleek. The team showed great determination and skills in the first half, going in at 3 points up at half time. Belleek fought back in the second half, to come with the win at the full time whistle.
Congratulations to Belleek on winning the Kathleen Tully Memorial Shield, and to Drumilly on winning the Gary Toner Cup. A special thanks to Club Belleeks gac for organising such a great morning for all our the children, and to all the referee's on the day, and Patsy Finnegan for the photo credits.
We are extremely proud of all our young footballers this year, who have shown great skills and determination at our After school GAA club and our matches this year. Keep up the good work.
