What a fantastic day yesterday at the Gary Toner Blitz!
Our team showed incredible determination, teamwork and skill throughout the morning, playing against Drumilly, Carrickrovaddy, Belleeks Tullyherron and Ballymoyer.
After finishing level with Ballymoyer, the boys and girls faced a tense tie-break match and came out on top to secure their place in the Shield Final against Drumilly.
Captained brilliantly by Esemir, the team gave it their all in the final and were absolutely delighted to lift the Kathleen Tully Memorial Shield — a very proud moment for everyone involved!
A huge thank you to Club Belleeks gac for hosting such a fantastic morning of football and sportsmanship.
Special thanks also to Miss Hill & Ciara for all their hard work, dedication and coaching in leading the team to victory. Your encouragement and support throughout the blitz helped bring out the very best in the players.
The celebrations continued back at school with a wonderful welcome home assembly organised by all the staff and pupils, who gave the team a brilliant reception to celebrate their achievement.
We are so proud of every single player and the way they represented our school both on and off the pitch.
