Last Friday, our school marked European Day of Languages with a vibrant celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity. Pupils proudly showcased the different languages they know by greeting each other and counting in a variety of languages. Some children even took on the role of teacher, sharing words and phrases from their home languages with their classmates. The day was packed with engaging activities including language-themed quizzes, creative artwork, and an online lesson where pupils learned an Irish song. It was a joyful and enriching experience that highlighted the many languages spoken within our school community.
