Diversity and Celebration Month- Neurodiversity Week

1st Apr 2026
Last week marked the final week of our Diversity and Celebration Month of March, with our pupils taking part in Neurodiversity Celebration Week; a time dedicated to recognising and valuing the many unique ways our brains work. Throughout the week, pupils explored a variety of PowerPoints and websites that explain different types of neurodiversity, helping everyone understand and appreciate conditions such as autism, A.D.H.D, dyslexia and more.

We watched a fantastic video created by students from our local high school,  St. Paul's, which shared what it means to pupils to be neurodiverse. Throughout the thoughtful work across the week in all our classes, helped our pupils develop empathy, respect and a stronger sense of inclusion.

To end the week, we proudly wore blue accessories to mark Autism Awareness and Acceptance, showing our support and celebrating the amazing strengths within our school community!
