Day 1 at YMCA was packed with adventure, laughter and a few unexpected splashes!
Our P6/7 pupils headed into Newcastle for an exciting paddle boarding session, where balance was tested and everyone had great fun. Rumour has it that Mr Murphy and Miss Hill may have ended up overboard at some stage, not sure how... we're still investigating!
The fun continued with a trip to the beach, where pupils competed to build the best stone towers, skimmed stones across the water and enjoyed exploring the shoreline. Of course, no seaside trip would be complete without a visit to the shops for some sweet treats!
Back at the YMCA, there was time for more games, adventures and exploring before winding down with hot chocolate and cookies.
A fantastic first day full of memories, friendship and fun. If Day 1 is anything to go by, this was a to be a trip to remember!
