We were delighted to welcome local author Declan Carville to our school for a special visit. Declan, who takes inspiration from iconic Northern Ireland landmarks such as the Fairy Glen and the Giant’s Causeway, captivated the children with a reading of his book The Magic Harp. The Primary 5/6 pupils were especially inspired by his storytelling and the magical world he created. His visit sparked imaginations and may have even planted the seed for some future authors in our midst! We’re already looking forward to the release of his next book.
