On Thursday P7 met up with their peers from Newtown PS for a Cultural Celebration workshop hosted by Aoife from NMDDC Good Relations program. This is the first of 3 workshops bringing the pupils together to engage in music, sport and craft pursuits. A wonderful experienced developed over the morning as we were taught, conducted and entertained by Wilson a musician hailing originally from Zimbabwe, who guided us through collective African drumming, percussion playing, singing, dancing and storytelling.
